200/110

I'm doing this in a rush...

I have to cancel my run tonight in MOA.
Sorry to those who was going to run with me, doctors orders.
We had our annual PE in our office and I was checked earlier with a BP of 170/110.
Yes, high in any standards. And she gave me a med to take to "lower down" my BP.

I went back this afternoon to the doctor and again checked my BP.

200/110!!!

My veggies...

I've been here before... and i'm doing it again... this is my so called battle... and with God's grace I know I will come out triumphant!

And after these challenges subsides... i'll see you all in the starting line...

Ano ang english ng... NAPASUBO?

I want to sleep... Darn TIGER GATORADE... epektib!!!

I ran an easy 5K earlier tonight at the MOA loop. Trying to shake off the pain from my right knee. I sprint on every second block of the MOA area and I think I did good. The pain in my knee is gone. I'll wait until tomorrow if the pain will really be gone.

I have to push myself running in pain, because i'll be running my second 21k for the year. adik?

Adik nga siguro...

As I just planned to run one 21K for the year and that was for the Condura Run.

Last week, I talked to Grace (an officemate, hi grace!) if they'll be running on Greenfields. She said yes, and they'll be running for free. FREE!!! since one of our brands is a sponsor. At syempre, dahil adik nga... I asked if there's a free slot left where I can join. She asked the people in the know and got back to me. She said one of the runners (officemate din) might not join the race. And will be passing the singlet & bib to me!!!

YEHEY!!! FREE!!! HINDI BANDIT!!!

Grace told me that it will just be for the 5K race. And I told her that it's okay for me to run 5K. I'll just run some more if bitin pa. yabang noh?

Then earlier today in the office. Grace called me up and said that a slot for me was approved and I was listed to run in the 21k. ayot!!!

21k?!?!

My veggies. I know I can run and finish this. But my plan is to run just a single 21K for the year...

Napasubo ata ako...

ADIK!!!

Coron, Palawan, I Ran

Last April 3, 2009, my family with some of my officemates / friends went to Coron, Palawan for some needed R&R (Rest & Recreation at hindi Rene Requiestas (R.I.P.)).

As I don't want to pass-up the opportunity to run in Coron, I imposed a 2 pairs of footwear per person rule to my family. Para hindi mabigat dalhin.

My wife and kids brought 1 pair slippers + 1 pair water shoes. Me, I brought 1 pair sandals + 1 pair running shoes. hehehehe adik....

I originally planned to run April 5 but have to postponed it because we have to wake up 3:00am that day to travel for 3 hours and check out the Calauit Safari Park.

April 6, our last day in the island. I woke up 5:30am as to not miss running in Coron, because by 8:00am we will be travelling again going to the Airport for our flight back to Manila.

By 6:00am I was out of the hotel and running. I stopped by and paid respect to St. Augustine Parish Church.

Went back to running after and then it hit me... I forgot my digicam!!! My veggies!!! How can I send my running pic to BullRunner if I can't take pictures of me running!!! (as if she'll publish my pic)

Although I have my trusty camphone with me, I don't think that pics from my cell will pass as good as a digicams.

Nevertheless, I whipped out my Nokia 6300 and started firing away...

wag kayo haharang-harang...
bad trip ako... naiwan ko digicam...

Coron Port, my turn-around point

On my run back to the hotel. I texted Ross, one of takbo.ph adiks who happens to be in the island. I asked her if she could come out for just a few minutes from her hotel.

Considering that it was really early, I appreciated Ross for coming out. (ross texted... mumog lang. i texted back... toothbrush na din... nyehehehe... joke lang ross)
